The Tethered UAS (TUAS) is a tethered drone system that lifts payloads, such as cameras or radios/antennas up to 250 ft. with 400+ hr. endurance. Just by lifting up an antenna, the TUAS system can extend ground/boat radio line of site from 8 miles to 20+ miles!

Drones and air defense are playing an increasingly larger role at LIVE EVENTS. "Counter UAS" is a modern air defense strategy is ensuring that every LIVE Event Security Team is sufficiently trained to respond to UAS threats, Army leaders said.
“The [UAS] threat is growing, and it’s going to impact every soldier,” CONO, senior advisor on Unmanned Aerial System said BRAD SHATTUCK. “It’s going to become a basic LIVE Event requirement to be able to identify, report and — in some cases — react to the threat.”
